    As a Treasury Manager, you’ll support branch management to manage Treasury’s balance sheet, including capital, and the liquid asset buffer. You’ll also contribute to the delivery of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment (ILAAP) and the Risk Bearing Capacity return.

    Along with this, you’ll ensure regulatory compliance and assist the business to maximise return, while remaining within our risk appetite and facilitating franchise product offerings to customers within those parameters.

    You’ll also be:

    • Providing inputs to the annual budgeting process including formulation of the balance sheet, capital and funding plans under base and adverse projections
    • Reviewing actual performance against plan, and making recommendations to improve balance sheet performance
    • Making sure all Treasury processes are documented and designed to ensure proper management and control
    • Supporting the delivery of accurate interest rate risk modelling
    • Delivering analytical insights into the bank’s liquidity and capital position
    • Building and maintaining close working relationships with subject matter experts in other parts of the bankThe skills you'll need

      We're looking for someone with a professional accounting, Treasury or any other finance qualification, with post-qualification experience in the Treasury function of a financial institution, or with a financial regulator. You'll also bring knowledge of the regulatory and business aspects of capital management, liquidity and funding, non-traded market risk, recovery and resolution.

      You’ll also need:

      • A strong understanding of relevant German legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations and risk management
      • The ability, willingness and confidence to challenge opinions, to offer alternatives and to construct a compelling argument to support an opinion
      • Experience of managing relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
      • Good interpersonal and communication skills with language proficiency in English and German, along with the ability to read, write and speak both
      • Strong analytical skills
