Summary

About the Position: Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI 1400.25 V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights.

This position serves as Section Chief and first level supervisor of a multi-national professional workforce of project management specialists, language specialists, and other support personnel engaged in life cycle project management work.



Duties
  • Responsible for developing tools and guidance to implement the US Army Corps of Engineers Project Delivery Business Process. Coordinate a variety of issues, concepts, and relationships involving multiple requirements, funding sources, and programs.
  • Assist Project Managers who are responsible for the management of overseas programs/projects for the US military, US federal agencies, foreign militaries and governments, and international organizations in planning, design, and construction.
  • In coordination with the branch supervisors, improve the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, management controls, information and documentation systems, and similar project management functions.
  • Provide guidance in the development of tools and methodologies required to perform analysis, with an emphasis on developing policies and streamlining assigned support services that meet operational, fiscal, and legislative requirements.
  • Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities including planning, work assignment and review, and supervisory personnel functions. Responsible for implementation and adherence to EEO and an affirmative action plan.
