Having inspired millions of runners worldwide, we’re expanding our horizons, and to help us reach new heights, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Lead Brand Marketing Central Europe who serves as the owner of the D2C consumer journey in Germany, Austria and Switzerland – from strategy to structure, from concept to execution. You will own On`s interactions with the consumer end to end across function, with a dedicated focus on accelerating brand awareness and authentically positioning On as a Performance Running Brand. You will own all upper funnel marketing campaigns and brand moments for DACH, and collaborate daily with the Global and Regional teams to provide a critical point of view to address market needs and drive maximum impact. You and your team are the pioneers and big thinkers that create and discover new paths to connect to our consumers directly and authentically – all while consistently and clearly delivering the message to inspire the human spirit through movement

You will report to the Head of Marketing, Central. This role will be based in Berlin, while the work will be hybrid and flexible, with some travel to other key cities in the region.

Your mission

– Understand and represent the different communities we serve in the Central region, from running to training, tennis to outdoor and lifestyle
– Be a spokesperson for the On brand and within the marketing organization as needed. Lead, develop and grow the Central Brand Marketing team.
– Act as a connector between teams from global concept to local execution
– Craft and bring to life an impactful and seamless integrated brand marketing strategy that delivers a consistent brand message
– Manage and steer On`s consumer brand growth, development, and awareness landing On as the top performance running brand.
– Elevate the Central Brand Marketing functional output; brand and product campaigns, content creation and activation, channel expansion (digital), communities, partnerships, PR and events.
– Together with your team, be the ear-to-the-ground and gateway to the market consumer landscape, reporting on trends (social), sentiments and broader societal topics, informing & influencing critical business decisions.
– Ensure that all relevant initiatives are implemented on time and within budget

– Deep understanding of the running & active consumer and life-style segment.
– Ability to inspire, motivate and provide a clear vision to a team; experience leading a fast paced team.
– Open minded, respectful and a great listener, you’re a master at expressing yourself – both verbally and through the written word.
– You are fluent in both German and English
– You are used to working in dynamic, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments
– Experience working with critical marketing success metrics and KPIs.
– Ideally you bring 7+ years of relevant experience in Brand Marketing roles,
either brand or agency side
– Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time; travel will fluctuate based on business needs.
