    Our client, a leading global automotive supplier, is renowned for its innovative technologies, high-quality products and strong customer focus. With many years of experience and worldwide production sites, the company offers customized solutions for various applications in vehicle construction. For our client, we are exclusively looking for a Director Treasury (m/f/d) in Saarland as soon as possible.

    Job Description

  • Provide consultation and support to all (international) subsidiaries regarding treasury matters
Responsible for personnel management and the development of the treasury teamOversee the digitalization of global treasury processes as the Business Process OwnerIdentify and manage potential risks, including currency, commodity, and interest rate risksResponsible for cash flow management and ensuring the liquidity of the entire corporate groupEnsure compliance with country-specific financial regulations and legal requirements, as well as the proper filing and management of treasury documents in line with general compliance measuresMonitor, report, and present treasury results, risks, and compliance statusCollaborate across countries and departments to implement commodity hedging measuresNegotiate with banks and financial partners, and manage financial transactions and balance sheet accounts within the treasury systemDevelop and manage in-house banking solutions

The Successful Applicant

Successfully completed university degree in economics or a related fieldExtensive professional experience in the treasury field (both operational and strategic), ideally with a focus on the automotive and/or industrial sectorsPractical experience in leading digitalization projects, preferably in the treasury areaKnowledge in derivative pricing is an advantageExperience in leading and collaborating with international teams and intercultural awarenessStrong communication skills, assertiveness, and leadership qualitiesExtensive expertise in using Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and proficiency with SAPFluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required; additional language skills are desirable
