The Opportunity
At Just Eat Takeaway.com, we’ve built a world-class Security team that believes passionately in protecting our products, our data, the data of our customers and our people. As a Lead Information Security Specialist, you’ll have the ability to play a major role in securing Just Eat Takeaway’s products and re-imagining how we manage InfoSec Risk across our business.
You’ll be a driving force in securing applications and have proven experience in maturing InfoSec functions at major, fast-paced businesses. You’ll be able to tailor InfoSec needs applicable to suit our company and how we work.
Day to day, this role will involve executing our infosec risk management function, overseeing and assessing infosec risks and controls, consulting business and engineering teams on infosec matters, defining and delivering the InfoSec roadmap, overseeing all infosec-related activities.
The role requires a well-rounded and upbeat person who can hit the ground running and build collaborative relationships to support the dynamic environment where code is released over 100 times a day. The successful candidate will have a passion for analytical tasks, non-standard setups and challenges involving multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Information security risk management
- Independently Identify and report information security risks and develop risk management recommendations
- Perform independent security assessments of IT processes and assets
- Prepare analysis and reporting of security activities to the management
- Develop and implement risk management and security controls frameworks as well as processes and procedures
- Oversee, assess, report and improve the overall performance of the infosec risk management at Just Eat Takeaway.com.
Lead security initiatives
- Lead the security element on projects that have a high impact on the overall business operations, continuity and reputation of Just Eat Takeaway.com
- Plan and lead strategic security projects which require coordinated work of multiple departments
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders regarding IT Security matters
Your Profile & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in information security
- Professional certifications in information security such as CISSP, ISSAP, OSCP, CSA, etc.

- Disseminates knowledge, insights, and updates in a polished, precise, and compelling manner.
- Demonstrates a deep interest in others' comments. Creates rich documents and reports

- Consistently looks at complex issues from many angles; obtains a rich and deep understanding; swiftly cuts to the core issue; skillfully separates root causes from symptoms.
- Can lead projects with multiple contributors and stakeholders.
Optimises work process:
- Pays close attention to a variety of metrics and benchmarks; determines both major and subtle ways to optimise processes.
- Swiftly resolves process breakdowns; takes steps to ensure that problems do not recur
Skills and experience:
- Understanding of multiple information security domains and specialisation in two or three of them.
- Good understanding of risk management concepts, CIS and NIST CSF frameworks, experienced in implementing them.
- Experienced in business impact and infosec risk assessments.
- Good understanding of IT and networking technologies, operating systems, cloud technologies, IAM and their security.
- Confident in understanding various attack types and vulnerability classes.
- Experience in infosec project management, GRC tooling and adoption of infosec risk management frameworks is an advantage.
- Third-party risk management (supply chain risk management) and vendor risk management process implementation (advantage).
- Regularly experiments with and leverages technologies and tools to substantially improve performance.
- Programming and scripting skills are beneficial.
