About the role: Director (m/f/d) - Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) - Germany
As a Director Commercial Due Diligence within A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice, you will advise leading private equity funds and their portfolio companies on strategic commercial decisions throughout the transaction lifecycle. Drawing on A&M's operational experience and senior resources, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the due diligence process and identifying value creation opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to the ensure successful execution of (commercial) due diligence projects in various industries.
- Drive in-depth analysis to uncover risks for the transaction and identify opportunities for post-transaction value creation.
- Work with cross-functional project teams to address challenges and drive results and collaborate with other due diligence workstreams such as ODD, ITDD, FDD, or TaxDD.
- Deliver reports that focus on the key topics at highest quality in the shortest possible time.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner throughout the engagement lifecycle. Provide ongoing support and guidance to address client needs and concerns.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Minimum of four years of experience in management consulting, or private equity, ideally with a focus on commercial due diligence.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering impactful results for clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively conveying insights to clients and other stakeholders.
- Excellent bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven leadership skills, including motivating and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for continuous learning and professional development.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
