Rivean Capital (formerly known as Gilde Buy Out Partners) is a leading private equity house in Europe with currently c.€5bn assets under management. We focus on investments in mid-market companies in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Benelux and Italy. Since Rivean Capital’s foundation in 1982, we have invested in over 250 companies across a diverse range of sectors. Job Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking outstanding candidates to support our Frankfurt team on a regular basis for a min. of 10 weeks (ideally 3-4 months). Based on your experience, you will:

  • Review and assess investment opportunities across various industries from both a strategic and financial perspective
  • Assist in the creation of financial models, valuations, investment committee papers and presentations
  • Work as a full investment team member on various projects incl. interactions with external experts and advisors

Profile

  • Final year Bachelor / Master student (preferred) with a focus on Business Administration, Finance & Accounting, Economics or Mathematics/Science with outstanding grades in relevant areas
  • Relevant prior work experience in M&A, Private Equity, Leveraged Finance, Consulting, Corporate Finance or Transaction Services
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with self-starter mentality as well as a desire to learn and succeed
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills (German and English)
  • Proficient command of MS Office
