Role Description:

The Real Estate Private Equity team at Ardian is seeking an intern analyst to join our Frankfurt office, contributing to the management of real estate assets and investments.

The intern will assume significant responsibilities from the outset, becoming a vital member of the team with frequent interactions with senior management, external partners, and support teams. High-performing interns have previously transitioned into permanent roles within Ardian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the acquisition and sale processes of real estate assets.
  • Engage in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including financial modeling, market analysis, and research of comparable assets.
  • Participate in the investment process, which involves drafting investment memoranda and reviewing technical and legal due diligence.
  • Support asset management activities for portfolio properties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in Real Estate.
  • A well-rounded skill set encompassing quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal abilities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
  • Intellectual rigor and discipline, with the capability to organize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with real estate valuation methods, financial modeling, and key performance indicators, along with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in both German and English.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree completed or in progress from a reputable business school or university, ideally with a focus on Real Estate.
  • Understanding of Private Equity fundamentals.
  • Prior internship experience in relevant fields such as:
    • Real Estate Transactions
    • Asset Management
    • Real Estate Development
