The Strategic Project Manager (m/f/d) leads cross-divisional as well as cross-functional projects and initiatives that result in KWS' long-term strategic goals. He (m/f/d) is responsible for the development, continuous management and implementation of these projects and ensures that optimal and timely project results are delivered. In addition, the Strategic Project Manager (m/f/d) is also responsible for presenting these results and managing the target groups involved accordingly across KWS Group. Pragmatic and results-oriented, he (m/f/d) ensures operational efficiency in day-to-day business and ensures value creation from a company perspective.

  • Conception and execution of strategic projects - e.g. in the area of digitalization, sustainability, new products & regions.
  • Compilation of project teams
  • Project planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Project steering, communication and stakeholder management
  • Delivery of project results and presentation to stakeholders
  • Transfer of project results into operational business units or termination of activities
  • Harmonization in the management of multiple strategic projects and identification of improvement opportunities
    • Completed studies in agricultural sciences, business administration or a comparable course of studies
    • Several years of professional experience in project management
    • Sound understanding of the agricultural industry and respective markets
    • Enthusiasm for projects, reliability, flexibility and analytical thinking
    • Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
    • Experience working in a matrix-organization and in an international context
    • High degree of perseverance and self-motivation
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken); good German language skills are an advantage
