Hub Product Marketing Manager for GIS in DACH region

Description

We are looking for a Hub Product Marketing Manager for Gas Insulted Switchgears in DACH region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Market Development activities of the GIS portfolio in the DACH region in coordination with the local unit, Hub and Global Product Group. This role can be based in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Your main responsibilities

  • Strategize and implement the introduction of new products.
  • Meet Customers on a regular basis.
  • Lead technical influence of specifications.
  • Identify new growth vectors.
  • Collect and provide market information, competitive situation to Hub and GPMM/GPM for R&D projects.
  • Develop, follow up and keep updated a market development plan for the Hub on the corresponding PL.
  • Pro-actively support improvement of strategic pricing, track and understand market prices, select target and non-target projects and select and use strategic pricing to drive market prices.
  • In cooperation with HUB M&S Manager and Hub M&S Demand Manager identify and propose MWO to GPMM, lead the MWO together with the local units, make sure relevant processes are implemented and provide needed feedback to GPMM.
  • Ownership of Implementation in Hub for GPG marketing plan (e.g. campaigns).
  • Participation in monthly forecast meetings, keep overview of results per PL, identify deviations and propose countermeasures to HUB M&S Manager and GPMM.

Your other tasks

  • Propose right sourcing strategy.
  • Participate in GPMM global PMM meetings and provide VoC for the Hub.
  • Oversight of Supply - Demand action list.
  • Organize/participate in technical seminars and customer events. Develop the GPG technical competence in the allocated region (identify competence gaps and organize trainings in DSUs).
  • Participate in RR as per HUB Demand request.
  • Identify pre-qualification/certification needs, inform the factory, and support on the customer management activities in coordination with the local unit.

Your background

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience as Product Marketing Manager.
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required (30-50%).
  • The selected candidate could be located anywhere in DACH region.
