SMA Iberica, based in Sant Cugat De Vallet (Barcellona), is looking for an Application Engineer/ Project Manager (based in Madrid or Barcelona) to join its Engineering division, a team of experienced and competent engineers, that provides support to customers in the Southern Europe region for the sizing and development of PV and Storage plants in Europe and worldwide.
Reporting to the function manager, you will provide solutions from a customer-oriented perspective.

Your main Responsabilities
  • Support for Spanish and Portuguese customers in initiatives in Spain/Portugal or abroad.
  • Sizing Photovoltaic systems.
  • Sizing Storage systems.
  • Researching the best technical solution and the most suitable product based on customers technical.requirements.
    • Presenting to customers the quality features of various products and their productivity results.
    • Availability for business trips for customer visits, meetings, events, and industry fairs.
    • Manage execution phase of opportunities after contract signed as Project Manager
      Your main Qualifications
      • A degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical/Electronic Engineering and experience in the electrical sector in roles such as Application Engineer or Project Engineer.
        • Deep knowledge in power electronic.
          • High technical English level for managing projects and for communication with international Clients.
          • Experience in using photovoltaic simulation software: PVSyst, Sunnydesign, PVSOLYour main Interpersonal Skills:

            • Customer-oriented and a willingness to find solutions based on various needs.
            • Ability to work independently and meet objectives.
            • High communication and interpersonal skills.
            • Strong team player.
            • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to handle stress.
            • Analytical skills, organization, efficiency, autonomy, precision, and reliability.
