Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Munich and are currently looking for a Strategy Manager (m/f/d) to join our highly diverse and highly motivated, global Corporate Strategy, Energy Policy & Sustainability team:What You Will Do
  • You will track and analyze macro trends with a significant impact on the success of BayWa r.e. Group and its stakeholders, translate findings into concrete challenges and opportunities for the organization
  • You will actively drive and facilitate the overall Corporate Strategy definition process for the BayWa r.e. Group, fostering collaboration across business units and geographies
  • You will lead or support strategic projects crucial for the implementation of our strategy. These projects may cover diverse areas, including market analytics, technology-specific roadmaps, and priority initiatives for organizational optimization such as cost reduction or revenue-boosting projects. Strategic projects are agreed upon with the Global Board of BayWa r.e. Group and conducted in close collaboration with Business Segments, other Corporate Functions, and regional or local management based on the initiative's scope
  • You will analyze attractive business models relevant to macro trends, explore new applications at the intersection of renewable energy generation and climate adaptation
  • You will support selective topics in Energy Policy work and Corporate Sustainability, identify synergies with our strategic initiatives or assist colleagues within our integrated team
  • You will support or facilitate internal projects focused on process optimization, reorganization, digitalization, or change management in collaboration with the respective functions or businesses as needed
What You Bring
  • Academic degree in Economics, Business, Electrical Engineering, or Natural Sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in corporate structures, including project management for cross-business initiatives and the implementation of change within complex organizations
  • In-depth sectoral experience in energy, renewable energy, agriculture, corporate sustainability, or management consulting is desired, with broad-based experience considered a plus
  • Demonstrated drive and enthusiasm, including a tangible track record of successfully managing projects and implementing innovative ideas
  • Proven analytical skill set, a strong affinity for numbers, and experience in developing at least intermediate-level models in Excel; PowerBI or other data visualization experience is a plus
  • High degree of intrinsic motivation and ambition to contribute to the successful growth of a leading renewable energy group
  • Highly collaborative, team- and (internal) client-oriented work style with a deep appreciation for diversity in all its dimensions
  • Excellent board-level presentation and communication skills in English; knowledge of the German language is an important asset
