Regional Project Manager – Smart Factory

Job Description:
As Regional Project Manager – Smart Factory you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the implementation of the pillar strategy/use cases in the different factories in Europe. It focusses on Smart Factory projects, which includes electrical, controls, digital, CVS, and value tracking including value delivery through statistical process control, machine learning, and AI applications. You’ll bring to life our digital projects, from concept to deployment, focussing on new digital technologies and helping Mars move towards full data transparency across our 12 pet nutrition sites across Europe.
You’ll use your excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with the project team, R&D, Quality, Engineers, and Operators on a 3-year programme, you’ll also travel 30% of the time to work with most of our sites across the region.
What are we looking for?
- Ideally you will have a degree in Engineering or equivalent experience within the field.
- Proven experience within a similar role in both project management and engineering capabilities.
- Extensive experience leading and managing projects, preferably regional.
- Extensive technical knowledge and factory process understanding.
- Experience managing and deploying digital products appreciated.
- Basic knowledge of data analytics (business insights, dashboards) and statistics.
- Very good communication skills in English.
