Job Description:

The Region Functional Expert (Supply Chain Finance) is a crucial business knowledge role with responsibilities for multiple business segments and units which are spread across Europe region. As the Region Functional Expert, you will have a matrix responsibility with support from and contribute to Mars Global Services (MGS) Finance Globally.

As the Region Functional Expert (Supply Chain Finance), you will provide support and guidance to specific functional areas of ownership for business process and associated systems. The role is a dedicated resource with responsibilities for ensuring benefit delivery, driving continuous improvement, managing system upgrades, educating the key user community, sustaining business process & training documentation. You will drive continuous improvements using innovative process design across functions, recommend interface improvements, and system solutions.

You will provide excellent customer service and support, as it relates all system areas of MGS Finance. You will effectively liaise with Key Users, Operational Leaders, Process Owners, Center of Excellence Teams, Functional Experts across SBUs and regions, and provide creative solutions while adhering to the Best Practice guidelines and Finance Manual.

This position has a short-term contract until the end of 2026.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Support the identification and strategy for end to end SCF solutions with partnership with cross functional teams

Support key user and help finance shared service center stakeholders through troubleshooting of complex techno-functional issues

Initiate and implement Continuous Improvements within the scope of assigned functional area which can benefit the service centers

Apply digital, bolt-on and ERP based solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and experience for the respective function -> people, process and technology

Timely and Accurate support to ERP governance and change management through best in class system/ process impact assessment

Support in testing (local/global changes) and ensure system issues are proactively prevented, apply automation where needed

Represent unit / region in global meetings with other Regional Functional Experts in the prioritization of new developments.

Partner with BU and Stakeholders to understand current and future technical needs

What are we looking for?

BA/BS degree In Finance and Accounting

At least 7 years of General and Supply Chain Finance experience

SAP Certification (FICO) desired

CPA certification desired

Project Management certification desired

Digital Transformation and Automation experience

Strong working knowledge in SAP Supply Chain Finance, Product costing and demonstrated cross functional business process change management

Business analysis and integration experience
