Acting responsibly is not just optional, it is essential.   Why this role is important to us The Customer & Commercial Insights (CCI) team sources, manages and analyses data to better understand the behavior and needs of our customers and potential customers. We use multiple systems and tools such as Salesforce and Power BI to generate insights for management, sales and the commercial organization. You will support us in researching market and company data in the investment management industry. You will gather data on companies and the market using publicly available sources, including annual reports, research publications and databases. In addition, you will support us in improving the quality of our existing data. You will also get the opportunity to work with the other CCI team members and learn more about business intelligence, dashboarding, and advanced analytics (incl. Machine Learning). We are looking for a student to support the team part-time 20 hours a week, starting as soon as possible until at least 31 December 2024, with an option to stay on for longer. If you enjoy researching and analyzing data, you might be the ideal candidate to support our Customer & Commercial Insights team.   • Conducting research on investment management companies (including asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds etc.) and the investment market as a whole
  • Reviewing, managing and analyzing data using MS Excel and other central tools/systems
  • Collaborating with the other CCI team members in how to gather and analyze the data
  • Creating reports and dashboards
  • Supporting the team in daily activities and special projects
  • Contributing to overall knowledge generation within the CCI team
What we value
  • You are an enrolled student in Business/Economics, Maths, Statistics or Computer Science or comparable courses of study
  • Very good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge about and interest in the investment management industry would be beneficial
  • Prior working experience in an internship or working student role is desirable
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Power BI would be beneficial
  • Analytical mindset and a systematic and methodical approach to work
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international team
  • Very good English skills plus basic German skills
