Senior Business Developer

We are looking to hire a Senior Business Developer, responsible for unlocking and growing our portfolios through sales development, relationship building, engagement activities and great customer/shipper experience. The successful candidate will analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, utilize an extensive network of relationships within the relevant industry to gather market intelligence, and execute on business development opportunities.
This role sits within the Business Development team, part of Amazon Freight Commercial team. This individual will facilitate market data to identify trends/opportunities, utilize an extensive network of relationships with the relevant industry to gather market intelligence, and execute on business development opportunities. Be the voice of the customer to guide product development and iterations.
- Identify and lead complex projects or initiatives to solve customer pain points and improve experience by collaborating with internal stakeholders globally/ across the EU.
- About the team
Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. Amazon Freight (AF) is a B2B start-up within ATS in Europe. Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and German
Experience in a Commercial role (Sales/Account Management)
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
A bachelor’s, master’s or advanced degree in business management, economics, law, engineering or supply chain and logistics
