Exide Technologies’ Energy Solutions division is developing and manufacturing stationary energy storage batteries, from backup power to large-scale storage systems (BESS and C&I). Exide's technology portfolio spans from multiple lead-acid over to lithium-ion technologies supporting the global energy transition and digitalization. Our storage systems are used in UPS, Telecom, Datacenters, Public Transport, in Front-of- and Behind-the-Meter applications and many more.
Director of Product Management
and Application Engineering (m/f/x)
The Director of Product Management and Application Engineering will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our battery product lines. Establish and communicate a clear vision for product management and application engineering that aligns with the company’s overall strategic goals.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams comprising R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure cohesive product development processes.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations, including those specific to battery manufacturing.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for product lines, ensuring alignment with financial goals and resource allocation.
Analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify skill gaps within the team and implement training programs to enhance capabilities in battery technology applications.
University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or similar).
Multiple years of experience in product management within the battery industry, with a focus on lead-acid and lithium technologies.
Strong understanding of batteries, manufacturing processes, and application engineering principles.
Proficient written and spoken german and english skills
