Junior) General Ledger Accountant* Finance, Legal, HR & Audit | Experienced | Permanent | Full-Time
Nintendo aims to deliver unique, intuitive entertainment experiences for everyone, manufacturing and marketing video game devices such as the Nintendo Switch(TM) family of systems, developing and operating applications for smart devices, and collaborating with partners on a range of other entertainment initiatives like visual content and theme parks.
Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB and IAS/IFRS)
Check of posting proposal lists of parked incoming invoices and payment proposal lists with regard to compliance with external and internal guidelines
Handling of VAt returns & refunds, and statistics for German government
Contact person for questions related to accounting according to HGB and IAS/IFRS
Maintaining Accounting Manuals & CoA descriptions & the correct use thereof
Participation in cross-departmental projects
Supporting Senior Manager of Accounting
Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and/or commercial education with further training as an accountant (IHK), ideally as an international accountant (IHK)
Excellent knowledge of the accounting regulations according to HGB and IAS/IFRS
Excellent knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel
Excellent knowledge in working with SAP/S4 Hana
Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
