TasksSupporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB and IAS/IFRS) Determintation, reconciliation and posting of prepaid expenses and accruals as well as other items of the general ledger Monthly reconciliation of various general ledger accounts Check of posting proposal lists of parked incoming invoices and payment proposal lists with regard to compliance with external and internal guidelines Handling of VAt returns & refunds, and statistics for German government Contact person for questions related to accounting according to HGB and IAS/IFRS Preparing the advance sales tax return Preparing of account reconciliations and integrity checking Maintaining Accounting Manuals & CoA descriptions & the correct use thereof Creation of statistics and evaluations Participation in cross-departmental projects Supporting Senior Manager of AccountingRequirementsDegree in business administration with a focus on accounting and/or commercial education with further training as an accountant (IHK), ideally as an international accountant (IHK) Several years of professional experience in the described field Excellent knowledge of the accounting regulations according to HGB and IAS/IFRS Excellent knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel Excellent knowledge in working with SAP/S4 Hana Very good written and spoken German and English language skillsPlease bear in mind that it might be a Junior position depending on your professional experience.Are you interested?
