Syntegon Technology is a globally leading provider of processing and packaging technology. Around 5,800 colleagues in more than 15 countries work for the Syntegon Group on intelligent and sustainable technologies for the pharmaceutical and food industries. At our headquarters in Waiblingen, we develop, produce, and market solutions for both the pharmaceutical and food industries. For the food industry, our portfolio includes packaging solutions for dry foods such as coffee and flour. You will be responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of group legal entities in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB), ensuring their timely and accurate submission to the Group.
You will support the entities and provide advice to stakeholders from an accounting and process perspective .
You will proactively improve accounting processes and drive, supported by other experts, the implementation of solutions for optimizing and harmonizing processes.
You have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax or a similar field, or a comparable education, combined with several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions.
You possess strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, and ideally (German) tax law.
You have comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module.
This is supported by your strong interest in processes and systems in the financial accounting area.
You are proficient in English, both written and spoken, and feel comfortable in an international environment. Good German language skills are additionally required for that position.
You already possess of a permanent work permit valid for Germany. If you are based outside of Germany, relocation is expected.
