Die eigenen internationalen Leitmessen und zahlreichen Gastveranstaltungen sichern tausende Arbeitsplätze in der Metropole Hamburg und sind ein wichtiger Image- und Wirtschaftsfaktor. Ein Eckpfeiler des Erfolgs ist das traditionsreiche Congress Center Hamburg (CCH), eines der größten Kongresszentren Europas, das kürzlich aufwändig revitalisiert wurde. Es verfügt über eine einzigartige Architektur und maximale Flexibilität bei der Planung und Durchführung verschiedenster Events, z. B. Medizinkongresse, Hauptversammlungen und Launch Events börsennotierter Unternehmen sowie Kulturveranstaltungen. Seine prämierte Nachhaltigkeit macht es attraktiv für die zunehmende Zahl an Veranstaltern, denen eine klimaschonende Durchführung ihrer Events wichtig ist. Die Fußwegentfernung zwischen Messe und CCH ermöglicht komplementäre Veranstaltungen und ist ein besonderer Vorteil. Das größte Kapital des CCH sind die Mitarbeiter, ihre Problemlösungskompetenz und ihr Commitment. Nach dem Umbau müssen Strukturen und Prozesse, auch unter Nutzung einer modernen Veranstaltungssoftware, neu erarbeitet werden, um das auf bis zu 250 Veranstaltungen p. a. ausgelegte Haus bei steigender Komplexität effizient zu bewirtschaften. Die Stadt stellt die technische Gebäudeausrüstung bereit. Das CCH übernimmt die technische Durchführung der Events und die gesamte, auch kaufmännische Kundenbetreuung. Zudem steuert man die zahlreichen Schnittstellen zu externen Dienstleistern. Zentralfunktionen, z. B. Finanzen, IT, HR und Marketing, stellt die HMC bewährt als Shared Service. Nach mehrjähriger, erfolgreicher Tätigkeit möchte sich die bisherige Chief Operating Officer des CCH beruflich neu orientieren. Ihre Nachfolge wird nun gesucht.
Ihre Aufgabe Profitables Wachstum – Prozessoptimierung – Digitalisierung – Synergiemanagement Sie berichten an die Geschäftsführung der HMC und gehören als Prokurist zum Geschäftsleitungsteam. Das CCH steuern Sie ergebnisverantwortlich mit ca. 40 Mitarbeitern. Sie positionieren es dauerhaft in der Weltspitze vergleichbarer Anbieter. Dazu erarbeiten Sie eine umfassende Geschäftsentwicklungsstrategie und setzen diese mit Ihrem Team um. Sie forcieren die Automatisierung und Digitalisierung von Prozessen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette. Das Veranstaltungsportfolio überprüfen Sie laufend auf Wirtschaftlichkeit und Zukunftsfähigkeit. Beim Vertrieb zusätzlicher Leistungen wahren Sie eine gesunde Balance zwischen deren Individualisierung und Standardisierung. Die Akquise von Top-Kunden übernehmen Sie selbst.
