Learn more at .ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for the credit assessment of new customersMonitoring counterparty and country risk (KYC)Reviewing and updating existing credit limitsInterface with commercial managers on credit limit payment terms and communicate decisions in a timely mannerPartnering with the business – find solutions to support company strategiesObtaining and evaluating/analyzing customer information, balance sheets, and securitiesDocumenting/Maintaining records of the steps taken in the GetPaid credit systemAccountability for documentary businessFollow-up on payment plans and bad debtsCooperation with legal on insolvency casesCovering of reporting obligationsActing as a point of contact for internal and external partners on credit-related questionsRequirementsBanking, commercial or administrative apprenticeship or Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Controlling, Finance or another relevant fieldPreferably 3-5 years of work experience in a Credit Manager position in an international company, preferably in the food-producing industryA degree as a ‘Certified Credit Manager’ or ‘Certified Credit Controller’ is an advantageFluent command of written and spoken English and good German, any further language skills would be a plusAn exact, well-structured, responsible working attitude paired with an analytic and ownership mindsetAssertive, target-driven and autonomous work approachGood problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to deal with stressful situationsGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work 3 days per week from our Hamburg office#IncludingYouDiversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are cornerstones of ADM’s efforts to continue innovating, driving growth, and delivering outstanding performance.
