Designing and implement data pipelines and workflows, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Monitoring and optimizing data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure seamless data flow.
Assisting in designing and developing enterprise-level data architectures to create scalable and efficient data processing pipelines.
Contributing to the creation of technical roadmaps and data strategies that drive data initiatives.
Exploring and evaluating new data technologies and methodologies, developing proof-of-concepts to validate their applicability.
Collaborating with senior engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to learn data engineering practices, understand data needs, and develop effective solutions.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
ETL/ELT Tooling, Data Modelling, Data Catalogs, Data Governance
Hands-on experience with: Python, SQL, Java, Scala and/or Rust as well as Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, dbt, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Fluency in German and English
Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities within the DACH region
