We want you to:

 

As a Product Lead, you will support the management of the complete product lifecycle for key models from planning phase, through to market launch and total lifecycle management (until end-of-life).  

 

  • Lead the development of the pan-EU trim strategy while collaborating with markets and relevant factories 
  • Ensure that the strategies align with market requirements while considering the complexities of factory operations
  • Manage internal systems in collaboration with headquarter and factory support teams, reflecting product & trim strategy changes in an accurate and timely manner for ordering & sales planning purposes
  • Contribute to the successful launch of new models by creating relevant material explaining model specifications & features and coordinate activities with various teams
  • Provide support in the development and implementation of specific lifecycle actions or product events for relevant models, such as special editions, model year changes, product facelifts or enhancements
  • Maintain regular communication with relevant stakeholders, including counterparts in headquarters, R&D and other relevant departments
  • Participate in model design evaluations to provide valuable insights and contribute to the improvement of future models
  • Support the launch process by providing product information and assisting with the coordination of relevant activities
  • Aid in the development of product proposals based on market trends and feedback from media, customers & other stakeholders

You will also need to have:

 

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or comparable
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry, ideally in product planning, pricing, or strategic planning
  • Proven experience in trim strategy development, product lifecycle management, and stakeholder coordination
  • Strong understanding of the European automotive market environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance market requirements and factory complexities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels
  • Familiarity with automotive industry practices, including model launches, cost innovation initiatives and market adaptation processes
  • Proficiency in project management and the ability to meet key milestones within specified timelines
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Office, JATO, NCBS, IHS 
  • Fluency in English language; any other language is an advantage
