In the face of environmental challenges, improving energy efficiency is a key priority

in hydraulics research. Independent metering (IM) technology offers superior energy

savings and controllability for hydraulic excavators. However, it also requires a more

intelligent control algorithm.

 

Your tasks

• Development of an IM system for excavators
• 1D-simulation and concept development
• Intelligent control design
• Derivation of a 3D model

Your skills

• Knowledge of hydraulics and controls
• Knowledge of Simulink, AMESim or similar 1D simulation environments
• Self-organized and structured work
