We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG and are responsible for the Mercedes-Benz Museum and Mercedes-Benz Classic at the Stuttgart and Fellbach locations.
As Project Manager ClassicPartner you are responsible for the development and expansion of a worldwide, economical and image-enhancing retail network of Mercedes-Benz ClassicPartners in cooperation with the participating markets and the network areas. You will advise the stores on strategic and business management issues as well as on technical matters.
To support the team, we are looking for an employee (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. This is a permanent, full-time position ( hours/week).
What you can expect:
Strategic and business consulting for the stores:
- Strategic management of participating markets and their Mercedes-Benz ClassicPartners
- Responsibility for Mercedes-Benz ClassicPartner business processes
- Acquisition of country organizations
- Strategy and activity plan for the regions
- Roll-out planning and implementation of onboarding in the markets
- Ensuring the transfer of knowledge
- Ensuring 2nd level support
- Management of the ClassicPartner portfolio
- Commissioning of suppliers and IT support
- Supporting ClassicPartners with questions about the ClassicPartner IT system (national agencies and retail operations)
- Development and responsible implementation of guidelines and framework conditions for ClassicPartner contracts
- Contract processing: development and support of market-oriented national and retail contracts
- Process support for purchasing contracts
- Regular communication with network and customer journey, management and control of supra-regional networks and committees
- Implementation of on-site audits
- Developing and supporting marketing activities in collaboration with Heritage Marketing and the participating markets
- Developing, supporting and managing Club measures in collaboration with Club GmbH and the participating markets
- Preparing and assisting with public relations work and trade fairs
Technical advice for the markets
- Conception of ClassicPartner training courses and quality management
- Development, support and management of service measures in cooperation with the Classic Center workshop and the participating markets
- Development, support and management of market-oriented spare parts measures in collaboration with product management and the participating markets
- Ensuring first level support in the context of parts product management and annual financial statements
QualifikationenWhat we expect:
Degree:
- Completed degree in engineering, business administration or international automotive management
Experience and specific knowledge:
- Several years of experience in the global retail network required - especially in the field of customer journey, parts sales, services and trade marketing.
- Strong sales experience, ideally experience with the sales levels of Mercedes-Benz AG
- Experience in service management, parts management, product management and market knowledge of sales issues desirable.
- Strong expertise in the global retail network, especially in the customer journey
IT knowledge:
- System knowledge in service and parts documentation. (WIS, EPC, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
Language skills:
- Business fluent in written and spoken English and ideally another foreign language desirable
Personal skills:
- High degree of independence, reliability and commitment
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Sales and results orientation
- Confident appearance and innovative thinking/acting in a dynamic environment with start-up character
