Ein Produktmanager hat die End-to-End-Produktverantwortung entlang des gesamten Produktlebenszyklus von der Produktdefinition über die Entwicklung, den Betrieb und den Service bis zum Ende der Wartung für eine Reihe von Produkten und Lösungen innerhalb von Global Retail Solution

Ein Produktmanager ist für den gesamten Produkterfolg verantwortlich, startet Idea to Market-Projekte, definiert die marktbezogenen Geschäftsanforderungen, managt den Produktlebenszyklus von der Markteinführung bis zur Ausmusterung und stellt die Verfügbarkeit der Portfolioelemente sicher.

Das Produktmanagement fungiert als interdisziplinäre Rolle, die eine Brücke zwischen Forschung und Entwicklung und dem Vertrieb schlägt und sicherstellt, dass Informationen nicht in der Übersetzung zwischen Einheiten mit unterschiedlichem Fachwissen verloren gehen.

Marktanalysen und Vertriebsunterstützung sind ein wichtiger Teil dieser Aufgabe:

Analyse der Markttrends im Einzelhandel Ableitung der Gesamtproduktstrategie und Definition des zukünftigen Portfolios zusammen mit dem gesamten Produktmanagementteam Entwicklung von Wertvorstellungen für die EPOS-Peripheriegeräte von DN, um einen wertorientierten Verkauf zu ermöglichen. Bereitstellung professioneller Verkaufsunterstützung für das EPOS-Peripherieportfolio für den Verkauf in speziellen Teilmärkten Technische Unterstützung von Global und Key Accounts während des gesamten Verkaufszyklus einschließlich RfP-Unterstützung

Qualifikationen

Bachelor / Master of Science Universität oder Fachhochschule Berufliche Ausbildung mit Bezug zu IT  Erfahrung in der Einzelhandelsbranche Erfahrung mit ODM- und OEM-Komponenten für spezielle subvertikale Geschäfte wie Fuell und Convenience Kenntnisse über PC-Technologie und deren Ökosystem Fließendes Englisch bevorzugt Ausgezeichnete Teamfähigkeit und nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, in funktionsübergreifenden Teams zu arbeiten  Ausgeprägte kommunikative und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten

Position Overview

A product manager has the end-to-end product responsibility along the entire product lifecycle from product definition to development, operations and service until the end of maintenance for a range of products and solutions within Global Retail Solution

You are responsible for

An product manager is responsible for the overall product success, launches Idea to Market projects, defines the market related business requirements, manages the product life cycle from market launch to phase out and ensures availability of the portfolio elements.

The product management serves as an inter-disciplinary role, bridging between R&D and sales, ensuring that information isn´t lost in translation between entities of different expertise.

Market analysis and sales support is an important portion of this role:

Analysis of Retail´s market trends Derive overall product strategy and define future portfolio together with the entire product management team Develop value prop for DN´s EPOS peripherals to enable value based selling. Providing professional sales support for EPOS peripherals portfolio to sales in dedicated subvertical markets Technical support of Global and Key Accounts through the entire sales cycle including RfP support

Qualifications

Bachelor / Master of Science University or University of applied science Vocational education related to IT  Experience in Retail Industry Experience with ODM and OEM components for dedicated subvertical businesses such as Fuell and Convenience Knowledge about PC technology and its eco system Fluent English, second language preferred Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to work in the structure of cross-functional teams  Pronounced communication and interpersonal skills
