Accounting Specialist

As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for the accounting and administration part and providing the high quality financial support and guidance to the organisation.
We want you to:
Be responsible for daily accounting tasks:
• Booking of manual accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices in SAP or BMS
• Booking of bank statements
• Booking of employees' business trips and monthly expenses
• Filing of the paper documents and archive administration
Support with monthly/quarterly/annual accounts closing:
• Closing and adjustment & accruals booking
• Monthly foreign exchange effect analysis report
• Monthly clearing booking of accounts payable and accounts receivable advance payments
• Support of quarterly International financial reporting standards audit and yearly local audit
• Support of monthly Intercompany reconciliation process
Support the accounting process:
• Support and guidance for system users from other teams
• Workflow supervision and follow-ups

You will also need to have:
• Minim 2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in accounting
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• SAP knowledge will be a plus
• Strong attention to details and accuracy in dealing with numbers
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
• Flexible, open-minded team player with an ability to work independently
• Fluency in English & German language; any other language is an advantage
