RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Regulated Automation Solutions (RAS) team in the Center of Technical Expertise Automation develops innovative solutions for regulated applications in the field of plant, machine, and product safety.
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will put new, complex, and innovative automation technologies into practice for safety-related or regulated applications. You will develop concepts for the design, verification, and validation of novel, complex, state-based or model-based E&I safety functions in an interdisciplinary team and implement them in close coordination with our internal customers and technology units. In addition, you will advise and support our customers in all areas of safety-related automation technology throughout the entire safety life cycle of safety-related programmable logic controllers (SPLC). You will be involved in our technology development and identify new methods and potentials of process automation for demanding applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
above-average degree in natural sciences, ideally extended by a doctorate preferably experience in the field of functional safety high level of commitment and initiative strong conceptual and analytical understanding in order to tackle new complex issues in depth and to show structured solutions responsible way of working in order to achieve the company's goals in the long term
