Supporting battery development with regard to material technology issues Carrying out damage analyses Material and electrical characterization of battery cells and modules Independent investigation and interpretation of the cyclical and calendrical ageing mechanisms of battery cells Further development of destructive and non-destructive analysis methods to describe the aging behavior of battery cells and modules Representation of the department in Traton development projects Ensuring high-voltage operational safety in central materials technology

Your profile

Master's degree, Dipl.-Ing. specializing in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrochemistry or physics Good knowledge of electrochemistry Practical experience with laboratory testing methods such as impedance spectroscopy Very good knowledge of the construction of high-voltage battery systems for commercial vehicle or passenger car applications Ideally ability to work on high-voltage systems up to level 3 Good written and spoken English skills Confident handling of IT systems and MS Office applications
