Are you the German channel Marketeer that will bring key account planning in Germany to a higher level and accelerate our cooperation with Expert, Saturn, Mediamarkt and Euronics?

Together with the German sales manager, you will be leading the channel marketing strategy for electronic super stores and follow up with key account planning/tracking. Masimo consumer is at a pivoting point transforming from a Hifi/Audio specialist into a consumer centric solution company, working with both audio specialist and large electronic retail partners. You’re driving this turn with your enthusiastic mindset, strong people management skills, a data driven approach and strong experience with (electronic) retail players.

When joining us, we expect you to grow our German business with electronic super stores, in close collaboration with the retail merchandising manager (displays, promotors etc) and dedicated sales team. You’re an excellent communicator and are experience in talking to the major players in this field at German headquarter level. You’re expected to manage the marketing/communication- investment we do with these retailers and to provide detailed follow up (flyers, in store promotions, CRM campaigns with retailers, digital advertising, increasing instore visibility, etc) and measure the return on investments. You will be working closely with the rest of the European teams to learn from your peers.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key account planning and monitoring:

Initiates strategic key account planning across the largest key accounts in Germany: build structure, deploy and measure. Take a data driven first approach. 

Manages the marketing investments in the key accounts and measures return on investment.

Team up with key account managers and Go To Market managers to initiate new commercial activations and share best practices. 

Plans, implements, monitors, and reports return of investments of activities based on sell out data.

Key account instore visibility:

Increase instore visibility: both temporarily and permanently and make sure it gets implemented in cooperation with the retail merchandising EU manager: share needs, plan for investments, make sure it is implemented in full and timely.

Monitor/measure promoters and display presence/effectiveness in close cooperation with retail merchandise EU manager.

Take up custom made visibility projects with large stores within the retail chain: for example, create shop in shop at selected high traffic stores.

Key account advertising/activation:

Creates an annual activation plan for the ESS channel in Germany, complementary to the EU Paid Media & Campaign planning.

Manage in close alignment with the Go To Market manager the strategic promotional calendar including the Black Friday/Cyber week approach.

You know all the possibilities of retail media for your accounts, and you know the potential return on investment.

Support the key account manager with national flyer planning and follow up: deliver advertisement needs in time with excellence, etc

Support with the set up of new product introductions for the channel: overlook product detail page (PDP) creation, share all needed information for the PDP set up, plan for reviews generation in collaboration with the EU team.

Required Qualifications:

3- 5 years of experience in trade marketing or channel marketing.

Experienced in working with hybrid/e-commerce retail partners

Experience in Omnichannel campaigns with significant electronic superstores knowledge.

Experience in retail media planning and (retail) event management.

Personality: pragmatic, organizational talent, open communicator, analytical, positive mindset.

Expected to travel in Germany (20%) and EU (15%), including non-business hours when required (e.g., for events and trade shows)

Bachelor/Master degree in Marketing

Native German and fluent English speaking and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced in working with key retailers Mediamarkt/Saturn/Otto/any other large electronic retail partner in Europe.

Experienced with displays/promotors/merchandising.
