Within the SGRE Group, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Deutschland GmbH specializes in the maintenance of offshore wind turbines and maintains turbines with more than 1,000 MW of installed capacity at sea. The company is located in Bremerhaven.

How to contribute to our vision

As a Service Technician North Sea - Troubleshooter your main assignments in this position are:

Perform scheduled service (500-Hrs, Annual, etc.) procedures on North Sea offshore wind turbines without supervision 

Identify and troubleshoot common, reoccurring, and major component faults on electrical and mechanical systems of the offshore turbine where duly trained/certified 

Provide on-job qualification training, evaluating competency and quality for troubleshooting procedures of individuals assigned to them 

Develop advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site with competent individuals

Lead small teams; Accountable for the safety, competency and productivity of Trainees, Maintenance technicians and Contractors assigned to them for maintenance and troubleshooting activities 

Keep records, maintain documentation and report technical, safety issues and difficulties to the relevant individuals on site/back office 

Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy

Participate in all relevant call arrangements (flexibility is important), if applicable

Participation in internal training and further development from Basic Technician to Maintenance Technician and Troubleshooter

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

Successfully completed electrical education / training (according to German regulations)

Several years of working experience within the wind sector, preferably offshore 

Offshore ready according to GWO standard

Advanced understanding of electrical & mechanical systems of all turbine components and systems

Advanced understanding of IT

Advanced knowledge in Business English

Proactive and independent way of working

Team player

Flexibility in regards to shift work in 14 days offshore and 14 days off shift

Flexibility in site location

Service Technician North Sea - Troubleshooter

Dein Beitrag zu unserer Vision

Durchführung von planmäßigen Wartungen (500 Stunden, jährlich, etc.) und außerplanmäßigen Wartungsarbeiten an Offshore Windenergieanlagen (WEAs)

Identifizierung und Behebung von häufigen, wiederkehrenden und größeren Komponentenfehlern an elektrischen und mechanischen Systemen der Offshore WEAs

Durchführung von Qualifizierungsschulungen am Arbeitsplatz, inklusive Bewertung der Qualität der Fehlerbehebungsverfahren der geschulten Personen

Entwicklung fortgeschrittener Fehlerbehebungskenntnisse und -fähigkeiten vor Ort mit erfahrenen Personen

Führung kleiner Wartungs- und Entstörungsteams, inklusive Verantwortung für deren Sicherheit und Produktivität

Dokumentation der Arbeitseinsätze und Berichtswesen

Führung der Dokumentationen und Meldung von technischen und sicherheitsrelevanten Themen an die zuständigen Personen vor Ort/im Büro

Befolgung der vom Unternehmen aufgestellten Sicherheitsverfahren

Teilnahme an Rufbereitschaften

Teilnahme an internen Weiterbildungen und Weiterentwicklung vom Basic Technician zum Maintenance Technician und Troubleshooter
