Company Description
Scalable Capital is a leading digital investment platform in Europe that makes investing easy and affordable for everyone. Clients of the Scalable Broker can trade 8,000 stocks, 2,500 ETFs, and 3,500 funds and other exchange traded products to build their portfolios, earn interest on their cash balance and take secured loans. People can also have their investments professionally managed via the digital wealth management service. More than one million clients already use the services.
Scalable Capital was founded in 2014 and is active in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK. The investment firm, which is supervised by BaFin and the Bundesbank, has more than 20 billion euros on its platform. In addition to its business for private clients, the company operates B2B solutions. Its long-standing partners include ING, Barclays Bank in the UK, the robo-advisor Oskar, and the Santander Group in Spain. Scalable Capital employs more than 500 people at its offices in Munich, Berlin, and London. Together with the founding and management team around Erik Podzuweit and Florian Prucker, they strive to empower everyone to become an investor.

Job Description
The Operations Graduate Program at Scalable Capital is a great opportunity to start your career in digital finance. It is designed for (post-)graduates and young professionals who want to drive change in finance, while continuously developing their professional skills. The Program at a Glance
12 months program Start date: Multiple rotations: get to know all parts of our Operations Department, work on real projects and choose your final assignment based on your interests and skills Connect with your program buddy, plan your next steps with your mentor and build a network across the organisation After one year you will be well equipped to excel in your first off-program jobThe Operations Graduate Program offers an accelerating pathway into the dynamic world of Brokerage and Wealth Management. By participating in the Program, you will embark on a unique journey to gain invaluable knowledge and hands-on experience across the most important areas of our Operations Department, tailored to your individual interests and strengths. Through a series of rotations within our teams, you will learn how to operate our businesses across the client life cycle and be prepared for your future career as Operations Specialist in one of our Operations Teams.
The rotations are covering areas and tasks such as:
Account Management: Oversee various steps from account opening to client data management and account closing. Payments: Be responsible for daily reconciliation, SEPA payment and liquidity management processes. Portfolio Optimization: Gain insights on how to ensure correct allocation of assets within our Wealth portfolios for optimal balance. Trading: Dive deep into on-exchange trading, analyse and coordinate different corporate actions, monitor security transfers and learn about trade reconciliation, settlement and security transaction processes in exchange with our external partners. Taxation: Support the team in optimizing processes related to all kinds of tax events. Reporting: Fulfil checks to provide our customers with accurate reporting in accordance with legal and compliance standards
Qualifications
You successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent You previously gained relevant work experience during internships or a job in banking, securities services, brokerage, asset management or equivalent You have strong analytical thinking and leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision-making You are solution-oriented and think outside the box, while paying attention to detail You are proactive, take ownership and have a team-oriented work attitude You are fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
