Responsibilities

Make an impact As Robotic Software Engineer you’ll be responsible for the  concept development architecture, implementation, testing and commissioning  of robotic software application and hardware solutions. Furthermore you’ll be responsible for  delivering  fully working robotic software solution to our realization projects. You’ll also be part of our onsite commissioning team during the  commissioning and ramp up  phase deployment of the projects solutions developed. Your tasks also include  developing customer project-specific software , and you’ll support projects integration both onsite and from office in Dortmund. You’ll  elaborate concepts  in a mechatronic way of thinking by inlcuding PLC software engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering teams in solutions development and optimization of existing products. As Robotic Software Engineer you’ll proactively  explores  new technologies, innovative ideas, and concepts in the fields of automation and robotics. Further you’ll follow the development process and supports  framework integration , introduces or improves the  development tools .

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed The cornerstone of your profile is a completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician in automation technology or comparable training. Or completed studies in the field of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent. In addition, you ideally already have professional experience in the field of robot commissioning and the programming of robots (KRL KUKA). You can draw on knowledge from 3-4 years of professional experience.  Initial knowledge of image processing systems and PLC commissioning, especially with Beckhoff TwinCAT3, is desirable. Furthermore, you should be business fluent in English and have good German skills. Your profile is rounded off by an international willingness to travel. #LI-RL1
