If you want to make it easy, to use data for decision making, you believe data needs to be thought of as a product and needs to add value for the users then we might have the perfect challenge for you. As a member of our data organization, you will grow the data products of relevant domains within the Bauer Xcel, one of Germanys biggest digital publishers.


You will be a part of a growing data team with a significant impact on all our users and the company’s growth. Your efforts will reveal invaluable business and user insights, using data to help many stakeholders from editors to product managers and our top management in making the right data driven decisions. Your data products will be the foundation for growing Machine Learning applications in our business.


Your responsibilities

You own and manage data products for your domains along the whole product life cycle You align stakeholder expectations, business priorities and your Data Eningeering-teams roadmap – focusing on what adds the most value You understand your stakeholders needs and try to make their lives better with your products

What makes you stand out

You have several years of experience in Product Management, preferably for data products, or you are a very experienced data professional who wants to shift into product management You want to build excellent products. Understanding customer needs and adding value to their lives is driving you every day in your decision-making process You know what one can and can’t do with data beyond buzzwords You love engaging with people and can explain complex problems to all audiences You are experienced using agile tools and methods Experience in the publishing industry is a big bonus
