The Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality (MP) department is responsible for procurement, quality assurance and the responsible organization of our supply chains. We work in partnership with around 0 suppliers in Germany and abroad.
Our team:
As part of our team, you will help to ensure that our products and services are procured with social and environmentally friendly aspects in mind. Whether climate protection, resource conservation or human rights in the supply chain: we develop and implement the goals of our sustainable business strategy as well as processes and standards around these topics and continuously develop them for various raw materials such as battery materials. These are some of the tasks you will be expected to perform:
Participation in the implementation of a responsible (raw material) supply chain Supporting the implementation of new environmental requirements for the supply chain and suppliers (e.g. with regard to the EU Deforestation Regulation, the Battery Regulation and the European Supply Chain Act) Participation in the analysis and research of environmental risks in raw material supply chains Collaboration and research in the area of measuring the effectiveness of due diligence measures Documentation, reporting & supplier communication: including evaluation, review and follow-up of sustainability performance & requirements Preparation of management presentations and training documents Independent communication and coordination of issues with other areas in the GroupWhat we offer you:

Studies: Sustainability management, social, economic, agricultural, environmental, legal & natural sciences, geosciences or comparable courses of study Ideally initial practical experience in relevant subject areas Language skills: Confident written and spoken German and English skills IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office Personal skills: Ability to work in a team, communication skills, initiative, creativity and ability to independently explore new issues High self-motivation to advance the topic of sustainabilityAdditional information:
