Your tasks
Developing, optimizing and communicating the planning of ground and flight test activities on prototype and production helicopters in coordination with the responsible flight test engineer Ensuring the consolidation of all test activities on test vehicles with the involvement of all parties within and outside the department Reviewing and optimizing specifications/orders for ground and flight tests and supporting feasibility studies regarding required tools, equipment and test infrastructure in general Preparation of flight test campaigns at various locations, mainly in Europe Support in establishing readiness for test execution in close cooperation with all stakeholders Ensure that the correct test configuration of prototype and production test helicopters for each test purpose is defined, well documented and established (helicopter, test equipment, flight test instrumentation) Preparing appropriate documentation for flight release authorization, ensuring availability of flight test documentation (including on-board and regulatory flight authorizations) Optimization of integration and test sequences in close cooperation with designers, simulation and integration test benches, test engineers, flight test teams, type test control center and prototype workshops
Your profile
Electrical engineering, aerospace or mechanical engineering at least Master's degree / diploma program German at least business fluent English at least business fluent Several years of experience in system integration and/or design, weapon system design, test operations or qualification, certification and safety Good knowledge of avionics and aircraft systems and systems engineering Requirements management, system conception and design, system integration, validation & verification, airworthiness & safety Ability to collaborate and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders Willingness to prepare and conduct flight test campaigns at various European locations Problem-solving skills with proactivity and systematic approach to continuous improvement, even under time pressure and in a complex environment with many stakeholders Good analytical and communication skills
