About the Role

We are seeking a talented People and Culture Director for Bauer Media Audio Ireland.

As an experienced HR professional, you will be responsible for advising and supporting people managers in all HR-related topics. You are a partner to the management and support organisational development as well as leadership performance and change processes.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of all HR fields of activity and initiate and lead projects. You build effective working relationships at all levels, providing a pragmatic and solutions focussed approach in line with HR best practice to truly add value to the business.



What you will do:

Lead the HR function for Bauer Media Audio in Ireland, working closely with the leadership team Define the HR strategy in line with the company strategy and growth plan Implement new group initiatives, localising them to suit the Ireland business unit Lead, develop and implement performance management programs, organisational design, and succession planning processes and systems Provide strategic direction to ensure the effective delivery of our people and culture strategy with a specific focus on onboarding, performance, recognition, offboarding and wellbeing Employee engagement; deliver initiatives and programmes to support the development of BMAI as a great place to work Analyse employee feedback via various channels to identify trends and areas of improvement, communicating across teams to mobilise support for the implementation of recommended changes Provide coaching support at all levels of management around the areas of personal effectiveness, growth, employee relations issues, and general business challenges Lead out on all employee relations issues. Analyse learning and development for all levels of the organisation, including leadership, management and employees. Promote group and industry training resources alongside designing and implementing local training & development initiatives Gender, equality, diversity and inclusion – lead the BMAI All Together @Bauer programme to develop and support an inclusive and equitable workplace culture Represent BMAI in industry GEDI related work and groups Design and support internal employee communications activities and approaches Maintain the smooth running of our people & culture operations platforms, ensuring data is accurate, and platforms are utilised effectively Support the annual budget and workforce planning process Ensure all people and culture policies, processes and practices are in line with legislation and best fit for BMAI. Contribute to the Bauer Media HR community, sharing experience and best practice, supporting project work

An ability to work collaboratively with a leadership team and employees at all levels A commitment to excellence in all areas of work The ability to embrace ambiguity, thriving in a growth environment whilst being able to navigate a matrix organisation Experience of integrating newly acquired companies is a plus Strong employee relations experience Strong communication skills with proven ability in managing and influencing senior stakeholders An ability to communicate well with people and to build relationships across the business at all levels
