Your tasks
Serve as the central point of contact within Voith Hydro for simulation of hydraulic and electrical transient behaviour of hydro power plants. Develop and implement processes and software for the investigation of the dynamic behavior of all systems of a complete hydropower plant. Represent Voith Hydro in external committees and development institutions. Actively participate in relevant conferences and project meetings with customers. Initiate and conduct necessary development activities to ensure Voith transient simulations are state of the art. Monitor relevant grid codes and ensure Voith simulation processes and results comply with these codes. Perform simulations as a service for operational sales units with regard to electrical and hydraulic transient issues. Train and support transient simulation specialists in various operating units of Voith Hydro and act as their technical leader.Your profile
Master's degree in engineering, preferably with a strong background in control systems engineering. Doctoral degree preferred. Proven experience in simulation of hydraulic and electrical transient behavior of hydro power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel and work in a global environment.
