Summary

For the department "Basic Software", we are looking for a "Technician / Specialist Information Technology Embedded Software (f/m/d)" at Immenstaad or Ulm site at the earliest possible date.

The area "Basic Software" deals with the development of embedded software for specific I/O drivers, interfaces, board support packages (BSP) and built-in tests (BIT) for different processor types and operating systems. The department is responsible for the design, development, and adaptation of platform software for computers and digital subsystems and the development of test software for "hardware bring-up", integration, testing and verification of digital hardware components.

Your Tasks

Development of software drivers and BIT functions for embedded systems Specified architectures / standards / standards

Development of test software and scripts for the verification of Basic Software

Development of test software with National instruments Test Suite for Hardware commissioning (hardware bring-up) And implementation of hardware verification test of digital modules

Test of the platform software on the target hardware

Cooperation in the integration of digital subsystems

Documentation according to the required standards

Your Profile

Qualification as a specialist information technology specialist for embedded systems

Knowledge of developing software drivers under different operating systems On embedded systems

Experience in the development of software drivers for various interfaces (for example 10GB Ethernet, ARINC429, UART, MilBus, can, GBIO, SPI, I2C, PCIe) and in the creation of test software with National instruments Test Suite

Knowledge in the development of hardware-related software for embedded systems (for example, PowerPC, arm, Intel, Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC)

Very good programming knowledge in C#, C/C++

Knowledge of software engineering tools advantageous (for example Eclipse, doors, DIMENSIONS, JIRA, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins)

Commitment and team ability as well as an independent, structured and solution-oriented working method and communicative

Fluent knowledge of German and good English
