The position of process engineer / pharmaceutical engineer (m/f/d) in the field of laboratory planning (m/f/d) is located in the Bio Life Sciences department of Exyte Central Europe and reports to the group leader for laboratory planning.

You work in the Exyte office in Nuremberg and at our customers' sites and are responsible for the complete laboratory planning in the various design stages in the top pharmaceutical projects in Germany and Europe.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

You plan the laboratory of the future - of laboratory areas and pharmaceutical production plants - with the usual planning tools - in all project phases (CD, BD, DD, implementation) as well as advising our customers

You create layouts for laboratory areas and pharmaceutical production areas, taking into account the current GMP regulations and in cooperation with an interdisciplinary team

You are involved in the project and system coordination with other trades from the TGA (technical building alignment) as well as interior and clean room construction

You take on the development of process and clean utilities PFDs and PIDs, troubleshooting with the system engineers and supplier coordination

You independently evaluate subcontractor proposals and ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements

You coordinate the commissioning of all process plants and ensure that the project schedule is adhered to

Show your expertise

You have a degree in process engineering, biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, medical technology or a similar course of study such as food technology

You have several years of professional experience in laboratory planning in pharmaceutical plant construction, a pharmaceutical company or in a planning office, alternatively in food technology and ideally you have already managed multinational projects

You speak good German and good English in order to be able to work bilingually in projects

You work in a solution-oriented, interdisciplinary and proactive manner in order to be able to present the best possible solution to the customer and to act independently

You are willing to travel approx. 30% of your time and be on site with the customer (projects in Germany and Europe)
