Cloud Ops SRE Multi Clou

ENVIRONNEMENT

Multi Cloud Management function of Group IT was launched to accelerate cloud adoption and industrialize support across AXA strategic cloud platforms. It aims at providing unified management of hybrid cloud ecosystem across all Platforms (Private, Public, IaaS, PaaS, all vendors, all geographies) to support AXA entities to rapidly develop end-to-end solutions by offering services that are perfectly aligned to business needs.

In order to accelerate cloud adoption, optimize cloud consumption, help govern Cloud exploitation and foster sustained security and compliance, the Multi Cloud Management team provides Cloud provisioining and orchestration capabilities that are used to deploy, configure cloud resources, integrated into the AXA landscape.

Multi Cloud Management is building a central team, whose mission consists of:

·Work with Technology Office to define strategy, architectures and roadmap for cloud management

·Work with Security, Compliance & Audit teams to incorporate their needs into the AXA Public Cloud Foundations

·Work with Cloud teams to define Product needs and help integrate Group Operations Products into the AXA landscape

·Define and promote leading practices around Cloud Provisioning and Orchestration

·Support the implementation and operation of technical solutions and products for multi cloud management

·Support the implementation and operation of a Foundation (landing zone) for the Google Cloud Platform

·Develop solutions to enable the automated integration of cloud infrastructure into the AXA IT landscape

·Enable consistent reporting of cloud and product usage

DOMAINS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Work with AXA GO Product teams and Programs as SRE to identify Operational requirements and solutions required to ensure the Quality of Service of the Multi Cloud Products. Develop and maintain Ops features required for the Multi Cloud products used to provision, orchestrate and integrate cloud resources into the wider AXA IT eco-system.

Main objectives will be met if:

·Cloud infrastructure solutions are developed and engineered to high standards and meet global security policies and requirements

·Cloud provisioning and orchestration solutions are fully automated and deliver cloud service integration with AXA backend IT systems

·Support business development activities by presenting cloud provisioning and orchestration capabilities & benefits (presentation and demo)

·Multi Cloud maintains a catalog of services packaged to enable Product Teams and Competency Centres to provision and integrate their products with other AXA IT systems

·Solutions meet quality of service expecations and are operated by GSC teams

·Level 3 support and lifecycle services are provided on a timely and efficient manner

·Work packages and assets are delivered on time and meet the needs of both product teams and operations

·Train and learn to continuously define and promote leading practices around cloud services 

MISSIONS

·Develop solutions and features that enable IT development teams to deploy and run their business applications in the Cloud

·Be recognized as a subject matter expert for cloud solution engineering, service configuration, fine tuning and overall implementation of cloud provisioning, orchestration and automation services

·Collaborate with operational and project teams to design and deliver provisioning and orchestration services according to schedule

·Create and maintain a catalog of services and design documentation

·Provide Level 3 support to AXA technical and operations teams on day to day support issues, break/fix issues, and scheduled maintenance, if needed

·Maintain close relationship with cloud competency centres and product teams for new products and features

Your Profile

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Mandatory

·Good knowledge and experience of Terraform

oInfrastructure as Code practice

oImplementing modular, reusable Terraform code

oManaging Terraform state files

oWorking with Terraform Enterprise and managing workspaces, runs, policies

·Good knowledge and experience in Google Cloud technologies:

oSecurity (IAM, org policies, service accounts, workload identity federation)

oNetworking (VPC, load balancing)

oServerless (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)

oCloud Storage and Integration Services (Cloud Tasks, Cloud Scheduler)

·Good knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, pipelines, code release)

·Good, hands-on programming skills

·Experience building automated tools in any of these languages: C, C++, Python, Json, Perl, Go, and/or Ruby

·Experience of security (vulnerability remediation & hardening)

·Experience in building Linux-based container images

·Experience in large heterogeneous cloud environment

·Business acumen

Nice to have

·Experience in solution architectures (disaster recovery, high-availability, scalability)

·Knowledge in GitHub Actions and workflows

·Knowledge in API development (REST, API frameworks)

·Knowledge in container management systems (RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)

·Knowledge in Cloud provider services (GCP, AWS, Azure)

·Knowledge of service management

·Familiarity with ITIL, configuration, capacity and change management

PROFILE

·Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent

·At least 1 years’ experience in Cloud technologies and specifically Google Cloud services, or equivalent

·Ability to support mission critical, highly available, high volume operational environments

·Good verbal and written communication skills

·Fluent English

·Ability to work in a product organization and to follow Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

·Ability to work in a collaborative environment, as well as independently

·Ability to work in an international context, with remote teams

·Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders on a regular basis

·Ability to perform pre-sales activity (technical presentations and demos)

·Commitment for occasional on-call duties

·Commitment for occasional international travels (Europe, US & Asia) to support new projects
