AIOps stands for Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations. It is a technology that combines advanced analytics with IT operations to automate IT tasks quickly and efficiently. AIOps helps IT professionals to manage, track, and troubleshoot the complex issues associated with digital platforms and tools. 

AIOps is all about leveraging advanced analytics tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to automate IT tasks quickly and efficiently. Rather than replacing workers, IT professionals use AIOps to manage, track, and troubleshoot the complex issues associated with digital platforms and tools. AIOps also provides a way for IT professionals to parse through the vast amounts of data produced by businesses’ many digital platforms. It allows them to resolve problems quickly and (in some cases) design solutions before they even arise.

We are looking for an AIOps Engineer to join our team as a working student, working in a hybrid model from our Munich and Erding branch offices and remote. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT operations and experience with advanced analytics tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). As an AIOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, tracking, and troubleshooting the complex issues associated with digital platforms and tools. You will also be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics tools to automate IT tasks quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Manage, track, and troubleshoot the complex issues associated with digital platforms and tools.Leverage advanced analytics tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to automate IT tasks quickly and efficiently.Work closely with other IT professionals to design solutions before they even arise.Provide real-time performance monitoring, continuous insights, and a faster time to resolution.Improve operations through descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, behavioural, and predictive analytics.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or related field1+ years of experience in IT operationsExperience with advanced analytics tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)Strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills

The Projects:

In our first case, we want to use AI to create a ChatBot like service to provide live updates on events (initially focussing on incidents) that are taking place in our environment. Using internal data sources, the ChatBot is expected to respond to queries from business owners, general management and technicians providing a comprehensive description of the issue ongoing, the root cause known or assumed, the expected time to recover, links to chat rooms, info pages, etc.

For our second case, we want the AI to use internal live and historical data sources to do predictabilities on the assumed root cause of such incidents, aiding the frontline operations teams to find the root cause and recover the incident in the shortest amount of time possible. As a bonus, the AI can start to suggest and perform recovery actions.
