What you will do
- Research in the field of Quantum Computing, with a particular focus on Quantum Optimization
- Literature review, analysis and implementation of state-of-the-art enhancements of the Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA)
- Implementation and evaluation of classical algorithms such as Gorubi Solvers as benchmarks for the assessment of potential quantum advantage
- Data analysis and documentation of the results
What you bring to the table
- Student in the field of artificial intelligence, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics or another related degree program with a scientific or engineering focus
- Advanced knowledge of Python and basic experience in the field of quantum computing
- Independent, goal-oriented and responsible working style

The duration of the internship is three to six months, depending on the agreement.
The weekly working time is 39 hours.
