As part of our dynamic Risk and Compliance team your insights and expertise will directly influence our operations and growth in the market
As a Regulatory Compliance Officer at Qonto you will:
Act as Qontos Money Laundering Officer for the German market You will serve as the main point of contact for the competent authorities in Germany Engage with the competent authorities on all compliance matters for the German market incl ad hoc requests regulatory reporting and onsite controls Engage in proactive identification and mitigation of compliance risks through new product reviews partnerships amp; outsourcing approvals etc Participate in crossfunctional team projects to roll out Qontos strategy to become the 1 online business account in Europe Lead and manage compliance projects setting benchmarks for success

Your manager will beGuilhem our Lead Regulatory Compliance: His path? Guilhem has a robust background in Regulatory Compliance and Internal Control with over 8 years of experience Before joining Qonto he held key roles at Lyra Collect as the Head of Compliance and Internal Control and at KPMG as a Senior Consultant He also has experience in Financial Security at Indosuez Wealth Management Guilhem has been with Qonto for 15 years starting as a Regulatory Expert and now leading our Regulatory Compliance team What he can bring to the team? Upon joining Qonto Guilhem has been pivotal in advising on regulatory requirements and acting as a solutionoriented stakeholder across various strategic projects He leads regulatory analyses for senior management and ensures Qontos compliance with various requirements across our four markets Guilhems proactive approach helps Qontos teams identify and mitigate noncompliance risks while fostering a culture of continuous learning He is dedicated to helping you grow in your role by providing insightful guidance and support ensuring you perform your job skillfully and effectively
About You:
Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience and strong technical skills in regulatory compliance within the banking or payment industry AMLD5 PSD2 preferably with direct exposure to competent authorities Language: You are fluent in both English and German Any other European language is a plus Teamwork: You thrive in crossfunctional teams and are skilled at working collaboratively Communication: You can distill complex regulations into understandable terms and to a variety of audiences Analytical Thinking: You are proactive in identifying compliance risks and enjoy solving complex problems Structured: You are highly organized and can manage multiple priorities effectively
