The dual study program at Mercedes-Benz not only provides you with a sound academic education and practical experience, but also an essential corporate experience. The campus model allows you to experience the Group up close In joint training courses and seminars, most of which take place in Stuttgart, you will come together with students from all plants.

Mechanical engineers master the design and testing of new and further development of products, plan and design machines and systems or control and monitor production and assembly.

You will spend the theoretical phases at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. You will be taught the basics of mechanical engineering, e.g. physics and technical mechanics, production engineering and materials.

The Vehicle Systems Engineering course focuses on the development (design and testing) of products and specializes in sustainable drives, bodywork and lightweight construction as well as electronics and simulation.

During the practical phases, you will gain experience in areas such as testing or equipment construction, production or development, planning or process development.
