The INTL Events Manager performs various functions to ensure effective and successful industry, Five9 owned, and partner events to drive lead generation and awareness for the company.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage the event budget and be responsible for the execution and analysis of each program. Delegate appropriate deliverables to creative team and 3rd party vendors, oversite of all the delegated items, bi-monthly one on ones that are tracked and documented. Increase the engagement strategy, creative approach, planning, and execution of the onsite events in GTM countries including Germany, UKI, Iberia, as well as Colombia, Mexico and Brazil events, including day-of-event management where appropriate. Responsible for communications and promotional strategy and the execution of materials for all industry and partner events including a more robust social media
strategy. Provide comprehensive post-event SWOT analysis and insights Influence and negotiate with 3rd parties as needed in the best interests Produce detailed timeline for events, e.g., timelines, venues, suppliers, legal
obligations, staffing, and budgets Ensure insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations are adhered to Act as the project manager of the events, including managing messaging, development of activities, and overall execution of the event. 

Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree 4+ years of event management experience Extensive knowledge managing vendors and partnering with internal business
cohorts in supporting operative events Experience leading a diversity of events Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Strong attention-to-detail, self-directed initiative Exceptional time, resource management, and organizational skills Operational project management skills and experience creating work plans, meeting
agendas and other collaboration tools Strong influencing and negotiation skills Demonstrated proactive commitment in evolving events based on
feedback and guidance Effective, independent decision-making ability Calm appearance under pressure Sense of humor and capacity to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.  Language skills in English and at least one additional language, German and or Spanish would be a plus International Travel required
