Summary
For our branch office in Aalen, we are looking for an “FPGA Developer (f/m/d)” for the “Data Analysis and Fusion” department at the earliest possible date.The “Data Analysis and Fusion” department develops embedded platforms and embedded systems. Both the embedded hardware and the associated embedded software are defined and developed. Real-time video behavior is required for most modules. PC-based systems with software are also developed. At system level, distributed architectures are designed, implemented and integrated to meet the functional requirements and performance data of complex optronic sensor systems.
Your Tasks
Requirements analysis and conception of FPGA architectures and implementation on the hardware platform
Design of FPGA modules with a focus on image processing and interfaces
Making strategic implementation decisions
Creating FPGA programming and simulations for the modules
Co-designing circuit diagrams with a focus on FPGA, IO and clocking as well as carrying out circuit diagram reviews
Supporting internal and external development partners and integrating development results
Creation and implementation of integration and system tests
Definition and documentation of hardware and software interfaces as well as development and commissioning of video interfaces (SDI, analog)
Setup, commissioning and evaluation of tests
Documentation of the design and development
Your Profile
Completed studies in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer engineering or comparable training
Experience with systems-on-chip, especially the Xilinx-Zynq UltraScale+ series as well as the Xilinx Vivado and Xilinx Vivado HLS Design Suite
Experience in digital image processing (computer vision)
Experience in agile software development (the Atlassian tools Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo are used)
Experience in handling metrological equipment
Experience in high-speed interfaces such as HD-SDI, 3G-SDI and RTL simulation
Very good knowledge and experience in HLS and VHDL for FPGA programming as well as in code versioning with GIT
Analytical thinking and willingness to take on personal responsibility
Very good German and English skills
