What you will do

You support the team and projects to identify and develop new business opportunities for tesa based on high performance technical developments for new customer segments. The position is at the cutting edge of R&D (TD/PD) and business development and requires both: a in-deep technical as well as commercial, entrepreneurial understanding.

You take on sub-project responsibility for in-depth market research on our strategic focus fieldsYou support literature and patent research for new, emerging technologiesYou support the creation of powerpoint presentations for internal and external stakeholdersYou are responsible for the implementation and preparation of customer analyses as well as market trendsYou support the economic evaluation of novel technologies and their applications together with our technology development teamYou support the creation of marketing communication materials for customer pitches

What you will need

You are in the beginning phase of your master's degree to become a business engineer, industrial engineer, business chemist, innovation management or business administration with a demonstrable technology affinity.

You enjoy working in a higly technology-related and innovative-driven environmentYou are able to set emerging technologies in a commercial and entrepeneurial context and dive into technology fieldsYou are a strong communicator and enjoy working in a teamYou have a high level of self-motivation and an independent way of workingYou are confident in using the MS Office package (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)You have a very good command of English & ideally German language skills as wellExperiences in patent & technology research, product development, SWOT analysis, secondary market research and technology potential analysis is a plusYou are located close to Hamburg as around 80% of the working time is on-site at tesa Headquarters in Norderstedt.
