Mandatory internship in the area of Strategic Project Management Drives from October 2024

The drive systems from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG have always been at the top of their segments and are characterized by their performance, reliability and smooth running as well as their efficiency to protect the environment and conserve resources.
In the Mercedes-Benz Powertrain Development department in Untertürkheim, we plan and manage the development of the heart of our automobiles: high-quality and future-oriented drive systems for all Mercedes-Benz cars.
Our Powertrain Product Project Management department manages and coordinates all current and future engine projects at national and international level. You are a member of the central project management team and are directly involved in the tasks of strategic project management for engines.
In the interface function between development, production, purchasing, quality, sales and business management, you can expect interesting and varied activities as well as unique insights into the product development process for engines.
You will experience the transformation from conventional engine projects to alternative drives at first hand in our department.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
You will be involved in the creation and coordination of presentations that are presented at team/department/division and board level You will be responsible for organizing and participating in project workshops and project manager meetings Participate in special tasks and use your expertise where it is needed Would you like to design a process in the project differently? Then do it Contribute to suggestions for improvement and present them to your team or department Qualifikationen Degree in mechanical engineering, (industrial) engineering, (technical) business administration or a comparable course of study Confident written and spoken German and English skills Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of workingAre you motivated, do you like to drive new ideas forward independently and are you also an absolute team player?
